These Vintage 4th of July Photos Are All You Need

Happy 4th of July!

May your day be filled with barbecues, sunburns, ocean water, a chilled drink in your hand, and a cuddled-up firework watching moment to properly end the day.

While you’re out there partying or relaxing sans crowds, try to come back to the moment that this holliday marks; the birth of our country. I like to reflect today on what we are doing right as a country, what we are doing wrong, and where I can help with the improvements. This allows me to always be mindful and active rather than passive.

For all of you red, white, and blue fans, I have compiled a collage of vintage photos that celebrate the 4th of July – your aesthetic inspiration around this holiday is about to bud.

I am not such a literal translator of 4th of July (you won’t see me head-to-toe in a red, white, and blue bathing suit – but perhaps just a subtle homage like a white shirt and denim), but theses photos are making me think otherwise.

Stay safe and festive; I hope the fireworks fill you with awe.
